Aki East Northport has quickly become a highlight on the Long Island sushi scene, recently relocating to 277 Larkfield Rd from Jericho Turnpike. Diners rave about the freshness and quality of the fish, which consistently impresses even the most discerning palates. Arthur Kegerreis calls their Jericho roll a “spectacular taste sensation,” surpassing famed establishments like Nobu at more affordable prices.
First-time visitors, like Evee L, appreciate the genuine hospitality and the well-prepared dishes, stating that the staff's friendly demeanor and efficiency enhance the dining experience. Aki's generous portion sizes, noted by Angelica Venus, make it an excellent choice for sharing, especially with signature offerings like the friendship salad that showcases a medley of fresh fish and vegetables.
Longtime patrons, such as Cristen Ryan and Matthew Rudin, share heartfelt memories, highlighting both the welcoming atmosphere and the delectable sushi. Whether enjoying salmon avocado rolls or the memorable Red Dragon roll, Aki ensures satisfaction with its extensive selection and consistent quality. I'd been rather dismayed at most of the local restaurants around Huntington and East Northport, coming from LA and NYC. But then we ate at Aki, newly relocated from their previous location on Jericho Turnpike. I'd have to say this is some of the best Sushi I've ever eaten. The Jericho roll was a spectacular taste sensation far surpassing anything I've been served at the places sushi fanatics have dragged me to around LA and NYC. Nobu ain't got nothing on this place - and the prices were unbelievably affordable.

First time here but will be back if I am passing through. Food is genuine and well made and despite that Im here when its low key the fish is fresh. Staff is friendly and efficient. They asked nicely if i needed a fork which was sweet of them. Very happy with the service!!

Aki is always a good choice. One of two top places all over Long Island. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their friendship salad offers a variety of fresh fish with vegetables. The portions are big enough to share between two people. Today I ordered the friendship salad, Kani salad, vegetable roll and chicken fried rise and everything cost us under 50 yet my daughter and I could finish only half of the food. The only thing I wish their chicken fried rice was just like vegetable fried rise but with chicken added because I find it hard to choose between them two. When it comes to food I'm so finicky and consider myself as a connoisseur. I can tell for sure that you can never go wrong with Aki. These guys know their job very well and I'm glad they are pretty close to me.

I’ve been eating at Aki for about 9 years now. The fish is consistently fresh and the food is consistently delicious! They have a larger selection of specialty rolls than other places in the area, and the flavor combinations are on point. I have tried many of their rolls, entrees and appetizers, over the years, and have enjoyed them all. My favorite roll is the Red Dragon (for tuna fans.) Aki gives you a nicely sized slice of fish on top of each piece of sushi or maki. Their portions are generous, when compared to other places in town, and their food is better, in my opinion. There are probably around 10 sushi places in the East Northport area, and (after trying them all) I only eat at two of them (Aki being one.) Aki is superior because of the freshness, quality and flavor of their food. Next time you’re in the mood for sushi, try Aki. I think you will agree! PS: My photos are from a recent takeout order. I will update with restaurant photos the next time I dine-in.

We had a wonderful birthday here celebrating my mom. I’ve been coming to Aki since I was a kid, and the staff is just so wonderfully kind and genuine. They make you feel like family. Their sushi (especially salmon avocado and sweet potato tempura rolls) is very good and fairly priced. I can’t recommend them highly enough. This is a gem.

Awesome food and excellent service. Toro tartare & Toro sushi were great. The menu is off the hook with sushi and hibachi options.
